Amaranth with Milk and Honey
Ingredients:
200 g amaranth (1 cup)
800 cc milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter
Panela, clove, sugar to taste
a pinch of salt
Preparation:
Toast the amaranth and cook it in cold water. When it is cooked, add the milk and the sugar to taste. Let it boil until it thickens. Remove from the heat, add the vanilla and the butter. Put it in a platter and beat until it has a creamy consistency. Serve in cups covering with panela or bee honey.
